The ARCH Network offers both training and hosted land space to help get you started in a wide variety of virtual world platforms.
Land: We have parcels available on on Architecture Island in Second Life (between $40 and $80 per month depending on parcel size. We also offer OpenSim islands for a much lower price ($50/month for your own sim or $150/month for your own entire grid..) . We can also provide Realxtend sims for the same pricing. Additional platform spaces to be announced shortly.
Training: If you’re totally new, and would like to learn more about what virtual worlds are, how they work, and the features of each platform, you can book a 2 hour workshop to help get you started. If you understand the platforms, but need help learning how to build, we can set up weekly appointments to review both basic and advanced building techniques. If you’re incorporating a virtual world in a larger organization, we can provide training sessions for larger groups of people as well. We also offer monthly, quarterly or per-semester retainer rates to be perpetually available any time you have a question. Whatever your training needs, we can help.
